Be real with Him.

“Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah” Psalm 62:8, NKJV.

You can talk to God, and be real and honest with Him. There is no sugar-coating needed. Like opening up a bottle of water and pouring it into a glass, He wants you to be real and pour out everything in your heart to the Father regarding your life. You may have frustrations and sin you’re dealing with. You’re trying to be a pillar for your family. With all the provision you need, it’s hard to trust that God will provide. Tell Him that. Tell Him all of your struggles, all of your problems. He’s God and He already knows, but like a good Father, He wants you to talk to Him. Don’t be open about surface things with God, but be silent about where you really are. Don’t hold that in, but empty it all out on Him.

He is a safe place for a man to open up to. He is your safety net, your refuge, and peace. Then, watch Him be real with you about Who He is and dismantle every lie from your adversary. Watch Him move and refresh you, and give the counsel and navigation you need to get through it.

Prayer: Father, I praise you today. According to your word, I pour out to you. Here is everything. I’m being real and honest Lord. It’s hard right now. Cause me to hear you pour into me that everything’s going to be alright! Refresh me. You didn’t bring me this far to leave me. I receive the truth of your word over my life. I praise you now and I thank you for navigating me to a great victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
