A Confident Man

“For You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord shall enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop; by my God I can leap over a wall” Psalm 18:28-29, NKJV.

Sometimes as a man, we just need some confidence. It is amazing what a little confidence will do. You may not be superman, but God wants your confidence to be as if you were. David was roughly 5 feet tall, yet he believed he could leap over a wall and could run through a troop. His confidence was that he could do it with God.

Let all of your confidence be rooted in your faith in a mighty God. Jesus lives in you. Someone with all power lives in you. Through Him, you can leap over those walls you see, and you can run through the troop of your enemies! Don’t cast away your confidence, for it has great reward! Confidence will cause you to take the risk. It will cause you to leap over fear. It will cause you to run with the vision God has put in your heart.

For some of us men, all the pieces are there, and this is the final piece you need.

Prayer: Father, thank You for believing in me. I will put my confidence in You! Through You, I leap over fear. Remove anything hindering me, even from my past. Help me be confident about what You’ve put inside of me. I receive the final piece of confidence in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
