A Word of Comfort from the Lord

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, ESV.

“When everything reminds you of what you’ve lost, I will remind you of what you’ve found in Me. You’ve found My way, My truth and My life. That alone will give you hope when you feel hopeless. I wake you morning by morning because I have a purpose for your life. Look to Me and you will find the comfort that you need. Learn of Me and you’ll find rest for your soul. I will never leave you alone, no, never. I am the lifter up of your head. I am your way in the wilderness. I am your safety in the storm. Yes, I am your guide. I comfort all who mourn. I am lifting the spirit of heaviness from you now, and I am giving you a garment of praise. Receive what I am giving you. I am commanding My peace and I am commanding My joy for you. Open your eyes My child and see My great love that surpasses all knowledge. I will do exceeding abundantly above all you can ask or think. Just when you thought your life was over because of what you lost, I will show you, no, your life is just beginning! Your latter will be greater! I am Your Comforter. Says the Spirit of the Lord.”
