A Quality of A Man’s Man

“Better not to vow than to vow and not pay” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭5:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

As a man, don’t short-change anybody. Short-change simply means to give less than the correct amount that should be given that’s committed to. Don’t short-change your wife and your children. Don’t short-change your job. If they give you full pay, give them a full, good hard day’s work. It is better to not commit than to make the commitment and not do what you said you would do. You made your vow to your wife and family. You made your commitments. Give everything you have to honor them.

Even when you feel tired, as you decide to be an imitator of God, He will aid you with strength and a refreshing. Be a man’s man and as you honor God, watch Him honor and bless you today.

Prayer: Father, help me not to short-change anybody. Not my family, my church, my job. I am a man and I do what I have committed to. Help me to be known as someone hardworking, honorable, and who gives everything I have. I ask for Your mighty grace to strengthen me, especially at times when I feel tired. Cause me to rely on You and I thank You for being glorified in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
