Brother, it doesn’t have to make sense to everyone why you’ve chosen to save yourself for marriage. Let people make whatever choices they’re going to make, but you do what God has told you to do in honoring Him with your body and trusting Him with your future. If you and that blessed daughter of God choose to honor the Lord while dating, you will watch God honor you in your marriage.

It doesn’t have to make sense to everyone why you and your wife are honoring God the way you are. You’re not letting outside influences destroy what you two have built. You’re safeguarding your marriage by not entertaining the wrong things. You’re keeping the enemy out and you’re keeping love in. God sees how you’re honoring Him and He’s going to bless you richly.

It doesn’t have to make sense to everyone why your children can’t go to that house party, why they can’t go to that sleepover, why they can’t listen to that particular song. You will be held accountable for the type of father you chose to be. Parent your children God‘s way, and God will bless you to see the fruit of your prayers, and the fruit of your commitment, love and sacrifice.

It doesn’t have to make sense to everyone why you don’t drink, smoke, or abuse drugs. Let other men do whatever they want to do while you honor God with your body and put pleasing Him over pleasing yourself. Live God’s way and you will watch God bless you with a vibrancy and a long healthy life.

Prayer: Father God, people will say whatever they want to say and think whatever they want to think, but my focus is not on pleasing them,. My pursuit is to please you. Help me honor you with my life. As I honor you, Father, I trust you to honor me in ways that will bring me to tears. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
