Will you yet praise Him?

April 26, 2018

“Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.” Job 13:15, NKJV.

Job was going through a lot that he didn’t quite understand. He had experienced losing his children, his livestock, and on top of all of that, he was stricken with boils all over his body. All of this happening back to back in his life. Yet in spite of all, he said that he will praise the Lord.

Whether it works out, or it doesn’t, whether you land the new position or you don’t, whether He heals you or He doesn’t, will you yet praise Him? If you don’t ever get married, or become a millionaire, continue to praise the Lord. Sometimes things happen outside of our control, but know it is never outside of His. He is always in control and sovereign, and whatever God is allowing to happen in your life, it will ultimately be for a greater purpose than at the moment, we don’t comprehend. However, make a decision to still hope in your God, come what may in your life, come whatever obstacle, come whatever tribulation or trial.

If you’ll praise Him, you’ll serve Him. When your praise doesn’t leave, your servitude won’t leave either. Job did just that and the Bible says his his latter was greater. His awesome end was double than all that he lost, and like Job, your latter will be greater.

Prayer: Father, I will yet praise You. Whether You do it or You don’t, I will yet praise You. My praise is going no where. I may not understand, but You are in control. Help me to stand strong in the midst of it all and trust You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
