Walking in Love

October 5, 2019

“And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing” 1 Corinthians 13:2, NKJV.

It’s amazing to comprehend that in in the eyes of God you can have it all, but at the same time, have nothing without love. You can even have it all spiritually. You can speak in tongues, be full of the power of God, give a lot, and still have nothing to Him, because the gifts are what He supplies, but love is your choice. We can be so close, but yet so far from people when they hear the scripture from us, but they don’t see it through us.

It is the love of Jesus that reaches without words. It is His unconditional love that will change someone’s life when people know you care in the small things. You walk with God, and walk with others on their journey too. Love is patient and kind. Love gives people the benefit of the doubt and not judging. Love hopes, believes and endures. It rejoices in the truth. Love is living free. Love is how you live.

Prayer: Father, thank You for reminding to walk in love with others. I am a man after Your own heart and I desire to allow Your Jesus to speak through my life today. Help me to genuinely love people, even in the simple ways that matter to them. Help me to not take my impact for granted. Help me to be patient, forgive and abundantly live. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
