“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” 2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV).
Have you said yes to everything God wants to do in and through you? God wants your yes, which is your complete and total trust in Him. Why should you say yes to God? Because He said yes to you. He has said yes to giving you eternal life through Jesus. He has said yes to empowering you to advance His Kingdom. He has said yes to being your heavenly Father and forgiving you, no matter what you’ve done. He has said yes to blessing your life. He has said yes to seeing you through every test and trial and delivering you from them all. Nothing can triumph over you.
Saying yes requires your faith, but you are putting your life in the hands of a good God. Maybe you’ve never completely surrendered to Him and you don’t know what it looks like for you to say yes to God. Don’t be afraid. All of His thoughts are toward blessing you. With your entire heart, choose to receive all that God has for you and say yes.
Prayer: Father, I say yes to You. I see the benefits of having a relationship with You and serving You. I give You my life, and I allow You to give me the expected end You have planned for me. You know me and all that I desire. I step out on faith to trust You. I give You everything. Change my life. Forgive me for all I have done. Rid me of all of my fears and I receive everything You have for me. I thank You that I will be a better husband, a better father, a better provider, and a better man because of it. Thank You, Father! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
