Prepare for what you expect

July 9, 2018

“He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it” 1 Thessalonians 5:24, NKJV.

When you watch the weather channel, if the meteorologist said we are expecting heavy rain tomorrow, there are things you’ll begin to prepare for it. You would get an umbrella, and dress appropriately in expectation of the rain to come.

We prepare for what we expect, and we expect what we believe.

What has God told you that He’s going to do in your life? If God has spoken to you about anything, it would be wise to expect it and prepare for it. If He said He’s going bless with a wife, than begin to save and get your finances in order. If God gave you a vision or dream and said it’s coming, write it down and begin to run with it. Whether it’s your calling, an opportunity or a blessing, believe what He said and expect it to come, because it surely will. He that has called you, will surely do it!

Get focused, prepare yourself and be ready to seize your open door. Be ready to possess what He promised you. Be ready when your blessing comes.

Prayer: Father, thank You for speaking to me. You desire to do great things in and through my life. Help me to increase my expectation of You. I will believe what You told me. Show me how to prepare for what You said You will do. I will prepare and be ready when the blessing comes. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
