It Will Work Out

February 18, 2020

“Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” Matthew 6:27, NKJV.

It can be easy for me to tell you, don’t worry and that it will be alright, but I’m not there. I’m not it. Yet, I can tell you that I’ve been there. I’ve been in it. I have found that while I was worrying, it didn’t add anything to me. It didn’t benefit me. I wasted all that energy and time. While I was worrying, God was moving, and He worked it out–His way.

We are all tempted to worry, but your response to the worry is what will make the difference in your day–in your life. You can choose joy or anxiety. You can choose to worry about it, or choose in the midst of it all to trust Him. You can decide to listen to the enemy, or you can lean in and hear the whisper of God that it will always work out.

Prayer: Father, thank Your for speaking to me. You know what I need every time. I choose to praise You. I decide to walk in joy today. I choose to live! Worrying will add nothing to me, but You will always add to me what I need. I receive Your peace about it now. I give it to You. You always work it out, and Your promises are true. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
