He’s Able!!!

August 13, 2017

“And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform” Romans 4:21, KJV.

If you’ve been to a circus, one of their acts is the strongest man in the world. When you see him, He is beyond built and he is flexing his muscles for the entire audience to see. The announcer loudly says, “Yes! Look at him! Look at those muscles. He can bend a bow of steel! He can lift a van off of the ground! He is able to move an entire fleet of cargo! Watch him lift this 500lb weight with his finger!”

When we hear that God is able, we sometimes look at ourselves. We can’t see Him, but we see our situation. We can find ourselves predetermining the possibilities, the victory, based on our own power not His. You can’t see Him, yet He says look at what I did for Joshua and Israel making the walls of Jericho fall. Look at how I was with Moses to deliver Israel from Egypt. Look at how, even after his mistakes, I helped Peter bounce back, empowered him to win three thousand souls and be a pillar for advancing the kingdom. I even raised my Son Jesus from the dead. I AM able to not only give You my promises, but I am well-able to perform every last one of them!

God announces His ability in His Word! God is able to change you. He is able to move the mountain! He is able to turn your finances around! He will bring another opportunity! He is able to give you strong faith! He is able to deliver you! Just as He brought others through, He will do the same for you! He needs your faith and obedience so He can show you what He is capable of doing for the man that puts their trust in Him. He’s a big God and He’s able!!!

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your Word! I’ve got joy this morning! I declare in front of the devil that my God is able!!! You are willing to move in my life in a mighty way. I take my eyes off of my circumstance and look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith! I praise You now Father! I say the battle is won! Nothing is impossible for You because You are ABLE! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Study: Joshua 6:16, 20; Acts 2:41, Hebrews 12:2
