“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.” 2 Corinthians 4:7-9, NKJV
No one knows how deep your fight is but you. No one knows the trials you are facing but you. No one knows how much you are being pressed on every side but you. No one knows the level of warfare and persecution you are experiencing as you enter into God’s calling for your life but you. No one knows your inward struggles to do what’s right but you. Yet I will tell you this, God knows.
The treasure of His salvation will bring you the victory. God will show Himself strong on your behalf and you will not be conquered. Your triumph will only prove the greatness of His power. Your triumph will only show that grace comes from God, and not you. You are walking out the Gospel that you preach. Don’t let anything stop you from going higher, going to a new level, a greater strength, a stronger passion for God, a faithfulness you crave, a faith walk unwavering. Be determined that you’re going higher and going deeper.
Prayer: Thank You Father for giving me encouragement today. I am pressed on every side, but I will not be denied the victory You have for me. I will not be denied the lives you are changing through my reach for more of You. I will continue to stand as a light in the darkness and help others to see this treasure in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
