“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry” Habakkuk 2:3, KJV.
You would say I’m out of mind if I said that men give birth too, but we do. We all do. We give birth to vision.
The vision of God is so real on the inside and has been real to you for a long time. You see it so clear on the inside of you, but it can’t stay there. It must be birthed. If a physical baby is ready to be birthed, but stays in the womb, it couldn’t continue to live. As good as the womb was for preparation, it was only for a season. Just like with the plans of God in your heart. It only is to remain in you for a season and if you don’t allow God to bring it forth, it will die with you.
Understand the season you are in. Some of us men are at a point that the Lord says prepare. Others of us have already been preparing, and now it is time for it to come to pass. When God says it’s time, it’s time. Now God says it’s time for what is in you to come out and bring life to a dying world.
The most difficult time of birthing is in the labor room, but at the same time, it is without question the most rewarding. You must depend on God and His grace to push beyond the adversity so you can bring life to what He put in you. This is when you have to rely on the Holy Spirit, Who Jesus specifically refers to as your Comforter and Helper. He will comfort, help, strengthen, lead, guide, and empower you to give birth to your vision.
Some of us even have something that the Lord wants us to bring forth before this year is out. Some of us God will direct to fast to in order to bring it forth-whatever it takes. Know I am praying for you. Don’t let your vision die. Give birth to it.
Prayer: Father, it’s time to birth the vision You’ve graciously put within me. I understand the season I am in and it’s time. Help me Lord to bring forth what You have called me to do for You. Give me the strength and focus I need to move beyond the sacrifices I have to make and see that what’s in me is worth it. I won’t let it die. I make a decision to give birth to it. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
