Advance His kingdom right where you are.

December 5, 2018

“Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him” Acts 28:30-31, NKJV.

“And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come” Luke 19:13, NKJV.

Even while under house arrest, the Apostle Paul advanced the kingdom from right where he was. He wrote several of the New Testament letters that impacted the church in his time and is still changing lives today. You can advance God’s kingdom right where you are.

If you are at your job, advance His kingdom. If you have a small business, advance His kingdom. With the family and friends you have, advance the kingdom. The kingdom of God is in you (Luke 17:21), and wherever you are planted, let the kingdom grow.

It doesn’t take much for God to begin changing someone’s life. He is only looking for someone that will step out and believe He will bless whatever He directs you to do. Whatever idea, small gesture, encouraging word, or something that you give, you are pressing to help others know Christ and come to experience the love of the Father. It didn’t take David but a small stone to slay Goliath (1 Samuel 17:49). Take your stone, take what you have been given by God, and use it to the glory of God–right where you are.

Prayer: Father, advance Your kingdom right where I am. I desire for others to know You like I know You. Use me today. Help me to use what you have given me and advance Your kingdom. Lead me Holy Spirit I will not limit You and I will be used to change lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
