Don’t Quit

June 30, 2017

“You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” 2 Timothy 2:1, 3, NKJV.

You may be experiencing some tough situations as you pursue to press your way into the promises of God. Things may not be the way you want them to be in your life right now. But don’t quit and don’t turn back. That’s what the devil wants you to do. It’s not the time to give up, but to persevere. It is time to strip your boots tighter and endure through His strength, not your own. You are at the threshhold of your greatest blessing!

Some things indeed happen and are a result of the devil’s attack. Yet, just because something is hard, doesn’t mean it is not God. Just because it is testing your faith more than it has ever been tested, doesn’t mean it is not God. He is stretching you for His calling and plans ahead.

Be strong in God’s grace–His strength to help you through this. It is mightily sufficient. Proclaim God’s will for you more. Seek the Lord, understand His will right now, and keep trusting Him. Like Jesus endured the cross, endure hardness as a good soldier and keep your eyes on the joy before you. Your breakthrough and blessing will surely come. It will.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for the power of Your Word. Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. Quitting is not an option. I am more than a conqueror! Give me the courage and grace I need to endure this hardness that I’m facing. Your grace is sufficient. I will trust You and I praise You because my breakthrough is ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
