“No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon” Luke 16:13, NKJV.
Either we all go the broad way with mammon or the narrow way with God. Either you will go one way or go another. Jesus will take you one way, and mammon will take you another. We can’t do both. We can’t be on the narrow way serving mammon, and we can’t be on the broad way serving God. Only one can be our master, and only one can we follow. Choose Christ. Chase Christ.
Prayer: Father, I bless Your great Name. You are good and faithful. You are worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. I choose to go after Christ, not mammon. I choose the narrow way for me. Show me anything in my life where my decisions are based on following money and not You. I will chase Your will, even if it costs me money. If it costs me fame. Give me the strength and courage to obey and follow You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
