“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24
A secret to a long lasting relationship, longevity in ministry, and any successful career is doing everything you do with all your heart as to the Lord. You see, we are committed to God first then to others. Our relationship with Him is the most important relationship in our lives, and when we make a decision to do all we do as to the Lord, He gives us the supernatural strength and ability to endure anything that comes our way.
It’s a choice we make that produces incredible results in our lives.
Prayer: Lord, I choose to do everything with all my heart as unto you. Whether it’s serving, helping, working or even loving someone, I do it for you. Thank you that when it gets tough, you help me be tougher. With your help, I will have long lasting relationships, longevity in ministry and a successful long career. Help me not give up when times get hard. You didn’t give up on me. Strengthen me Lord according to your word. Help me remember to do all I do with all my heart as to you and not man. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
