Don’t worry, God will still make it work.

February 20, 2026

“So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw in there; and he made the iron float. Therefore he said, “Pick it up for yourself.” So he reached out his hand and took it” 2 Kings 6;6-7, NKJV.<

The man was building a place to live, but the axehead he borrowed fell into the water. The prophet Elisha threw a stick in the water and made the axe head float, so he could pick it up and finish building.

If you’re building something in life and something went wrong, don’t worry. Resist the discouragement that comes when everything doesn’t go according to plan. I know how it feels when the vision God gave you isn’t going the way you thought it would. So far, you’ve made some mistakes, or something happened completely out of your control.

But God will still make it work.

God is going to meet you with what you can’t do. He’s going to bless you to meet the God Who can do the impossible. The God Who has purpose in it all, and at the same time we are building the vision, He is building us.

Trust Him with His expected end for you. Stay joyful and be a man who leads strong through adversity. Even in your pure pursuit to do His will, He already knew it would happen. Yet, in it all, He will still bring the dream to pass. He will still make it work!

Prayer. Father, thank You for all You have done for me. I will not worry. You still will make it work! Help me to focus on doing what You have instructed me to do. You will do your part. I trust You can do what seems impossible. This is Your vision, so no matter what I go through, You will make it thrive. You will cause it to increase. You are my Provider. You are my family’s provider. It will work even better. I rest in You now. Thank You, Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
