“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” Acts 1:8, NKJV.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” Ephesians 2:10, NKJV.
In Greek, power is “dunamis,” which means miraculous power, force, and an abundance of ability from God Himself. You are not only forgiven and made free. You are anointed, Spirit-filled, and endowed with the power of God to be used in an uncommon way. The Holy Spirit is upon you. Not just anyone’s spirit but God’s Spirit. The same Spirit that rested upon Jesus now rests on your life. He is in you for character, yet He is upon you for mighty service.
You are great, and one of the best things you can do in your Christian walk is not to forget how awesome you now are in Christ. You are who God says you are and can do what God says you can do. There is no one or nothing that can stop you from doing the work God has placed in your heart to do. You have no barrier or blockades from the wicked one that can restrain the divine power you have.
You are not an ordinary man, called to an ordinary life. You’re called to impact and make a difference. Receive it and draw from the Holy Spirit today. Step into your greatness in Christ.
Prayer: Father, thank you for stepping into greatness. The Holy Spirit is upon me, and I am anointed to be like Jesus. I declare Luke 4:18 over my life: that the Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed. I thank you for making me great in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
