“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living” Psalm 27:13, NKJV.

Your past isn’t all the goodness you are ordained to see, but He will be good to you in your days ahead and even today.

You may not know how or when, but He will be good to you. Since God is good, He can only be good. When He chastises us as a father does a son, the Lord’s grace and mercy will show up and be beyond what you can understand. You may feel it’s beyond what you’re worthy of, but that’s the love the Father has for you.

If you settle yourself in Him, you will hear the Lord say I am good, even now, and He is bringing what He said to pass. Things may appear to be going differently than you would like, or you need a great change within. You may be praying for direction, an open door, a job opportunity, or you may be in jail. You can count on and expect something good from the Father when you tell Him I trust you. Don’t faint because His plans are your portion. Surely the Lord is going to show up with goodness in His hands.

Prayer: Father, I praise you and thank you. You have great things planned for me. You have been good, and I believe I will see your goodness in my life. Lead me, Holy Spirit. Let my faith not faint, but stand on this mighty truth. You will come through for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
