Whatever You want.

“And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living…But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you” Luke 15:13 & 17-18, NKJV.

The prodigal son had been living his way, but he found out his way didn’t get him the life he expected. He came to himself, repented and said he would do what his father wants.

Whether you’re living a way you know you shouldn’t be. God could be telling you that you’re outside of His will and you know He’s been dealing with you about it for a while now. It may be time to lay hold of what’s before you. It may be time to let something in your life go. Come to a point in your life where you say to God whatever you want. You’ve been so good. You’ve been so faithful. Father, whatever you want from me.

Prayer: Father, thank you for your goodness and mercy that follows me all the days of my life. You’ve been speaking to me. You’ve been trying to tell me. I repent. I give it up and surrender. Lord, whatever you want from me. Help me let go of it and take hold of you. I receive the courage to obey you and I trust you have great things in store for my life. I thank you for it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
