“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair” 2 Corinthians 4‬:‭7‬-‭8‬, NKJV‬‬.

There is something about how pressure can bring out the best in us, or the worst. When you see problems, address them. Instead of allowing pressure to bring out the worst, let God’s word speak to your deeper need, and give you faith-filled, love-filled responses. Let the Lord apply the right kind of pressure that shapes you.

The more you put His word into your heart regarding that area, the more you will trust Him. You will hear Him when He says be of good cheer because He has already overcome the problem for you. His word will change you into a man and when under pressure, the best will come out of you. Pressure may be on every side, but know the Lord is on your every side. Through Him, you will not only handle pressure, but reign over it!

Prayer: Father, You know what we need. You know my inward struggles I face and the pressure around me. I don’t want to react, but respond. I put Your word in my heart so I can respond like You. Greater is Jesus Who is in me, than he who is in the world. Through You and your word, I will have faith and joy to reign over pressure. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
