“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God” Colossians 3:1-3, NKJV.

I have an uncle that was running from God, but finally decided to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. He gave him everything and began seek the things that are above. He experienced so much life, so many blessings, so much of a turning around of his life, that he began to say, “If I would have known Jesus was this good, I would have gave him my life a long time ago.” He ended up becoming a reverend and doing well.

There’s so much life God has for us in Christ. The devil will tell you there’s no life in Christ. He will tell you to keep your mind on the things of the earth to really live. When on the contrary, if you decide to totally dive into him, you’ll live your greatest life. On the contrary, you’ll find more life in him than you’ve ever had.

As a born-again believer, we have to accept that our life is found in Christ. It’s just as if you use to have lungs, but now you have gills. That means you can’t live on the land any longer. You now live, move and have your being in water. You have been born again. You now live, move and have your being in the water of the word, in Christ and it’s impossible for you to receive life from anywhere else. When you truly set your mind on things above, that’s when you’ll experience so many blessings and so much of a turning around of your life. That’s when you’ll live your greatest life.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your word. My life is hidden in Christ. I choose to seek and set my mind on those things that are above, where Christ is. Help me shift to living in Christ. He is my life and there’s so much life in him. I thank You for it. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
