“Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure” Psalm 147:5, ESV.
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable” Isaiah 40:28, ESV.
Just when the people of Israel were stuck between the Red Sea and an Egyptian army, God split the Red Sea and caused them to walk through it. Just when the widow thought she and her son wouldn’t make it another day, God sent the Prophet Elijah to bring her a miracle. When Peter made the biggest mistake of his life by denying Jesus, Jesus loved him and restored him from a deep place of depression. Later, we find God using him to win 3,000 men to Christ.
When it appears there is no hope, God always makes a river in our desert, brings seemingly dead situations to life again, and does the impossible! Let’s not put Him in a box. He’s too big for it. The sky isn’t the limit in God. The sky is just the beginning. He is Lord with no limits!
Prayer: Father, nothing is impossible for You to work out, no problem is too big for You to fix, no heart is too hard for You to soften, no life is too far gone for You to resurrect. By faith, I will not limit You. Do what You said You will do in my life. I take the limitations off of you now, and I put my trust in Your ability to make a way out of no way for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
