“Therefore know [without any doubt] and understand that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who is keeping His covenant and His [steadfast] loving-kindness to a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments” Deuteronomy 7:9, Amplified.

In these times, it is important to be thankful in knowing the character of your God. He is holy and good. He is love and rich in mercy. He keeps His word. He chastises those that He loves, as a father does a son. The Lord will never disappoint you. He never forsakes us and He is your defender. He is unchanging with all power in His hands.

Refuse to give room to the wrestling today with thoughts contrary to the God you know. He has character. If His word is settled in heaven and it is settled about you. God is not shady, but upright in all His ways. What you read about your Heavenly Father in scripture is who He is. If He said He is for you, He is truly for you my brother.

Whatever point you stand in your life today, be still and be thankful in knowing God’s character, and let it give you peace.

Confession: I am thankful my God will not change on me. He keeps His word. My faith is strong and my expectation is in Him. I have joy today because I know my Father’s character. I know He is holy, righteous, and good. He is faithful and on time! Anything contrary to His character is not from Him at all. I will rejoice because I serve a God with character. Hallelujah!
