Start your day with thanking Him.

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name” Psalm 100:4, NKJV.

“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” 1 Thessalonians 5:18, NKJV.

Before you ask for anything from God this morning, give Him thanks and praise. Praise Him on behalf of your family. Praise Him with conviction and deeply. Praise Him with tenacity and passion. Praise Him for His righteousness, mercy, and unending grace.

Thank Him for being your Savior, Deliverer, and Waymaker. Thank Him for being there when no one else was. Thank Him for removing the chains of sin from you. Thank Him for the victories and the ones to come. Even thank Him for the trials that He worked for your good.

When you praise and magnify Him, it will bring into focus how small your situation is for such a big God. It will bring into focus to be thankful for what you have and who you have in your life.

He’s been good to you! May your thankfulness remind you He’ll be good again.

Prayer: Father, I give you the highest praise. Hallelujah! Thank you for all you have done and what you will do. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me and setting me free. Thank you for your love and mercies that are new every morning. I receive great joy from you today. I’m thankful for how you always work things out for me. You have blessed me, and I still haven’t seen anything yet. I deeply thank you! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
