“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert” Isaiah 43:18-19, NKJV.
The truth is even during the holidays, people can still find themselves troubled. We don’t want to be, but we are, and we need God to step into our moment and encourage us.
If this is you, He wants to shift your focus on Him. Shift your focus on Christ. He wants to shift your focus on what you have and who you have. If you feel like you’re in the desert, He miraculously brings water there.
He’s bringing strength and comfort to you right now. I believe He’s making your smile a real one. When you see Jesus, you see hope and life. He’s moving on your heart to remind you that he favors you. You are blessed and loved by Him. That’s why He came. The Father didn’t give you something old for Christmas. He gave you Jesus new–hope, a new way, a new perspective, and a new victory, always available to shift your focus on and pick you up.
Don’t let your heart be troubled, but shift your heart on Jesus today.
Prayer: Father, You are faithful, and there’s none like You. Even when we are troubled or sad, you still move in us and bring hope and life. You bring supernatural comfort. Help me shift my heart and focus on Jesus, the reason for the season. I focus on what I do have, and I’m thankful. I receive a real smile and real joy today. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
