“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”Ephesians 3:20 NKJV.
You may not have it all together, but God does. You may not know everything, but God does. You can’t change anyone’s heart, but God can. Your heavenly Father is all-powerful, knows all, and He sees all. Rest in His ability.
Instead of focusing on your abilities, rest in God’s. In quietness and confidence there is strength for you. This is what removes any pressure we’ve placed on ourselves to make it happen, to have it all figured out, or to change anyone. It will lift the heavy burden off your shoulders as a man and bring joy. It will clear the way to hear Him speak to you.
Like a reclining chair, may you lay back in God’s ability to do above you can ask or think today. Your faith stance gives God room to go to work in your life and in every situation.
Prayer: Father God, I give you praise! Thank you for speaking directly to me. Help me to quit trying to do it. I put my focus on you, on your word, and on what only you can do. I give it to you, Lord! You are my God, and nothing is too hard for You! I declare I walk in peace and joy as I rest in Your ability. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
