Redeem the time.

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil” Ephesians 5:15-16, NKJV.

Redeem means in Greek to buy back, ransom, rescue from loss; or improve opportunity. Allow the goodness of God and His love to be experienced through you. From helping someone in need to walking out the call of God in your heart, whatever you can do to impact this world while you yet have the opportunity, while you have time. People are hurting, hungry for love, and in desperate need of the answer of Jesus Christ. As you realize the times we’re in, let your perspective be a wise one, turning your focus on things above and toward living a life poured out. Jesus is coming. The times we’re in are evil, yet God still rescues. Be a redeemer of the times, shine, and win others back to Him.

Prayer: Father, I praise You. Thank you for a new day. Help me to redeem the time. Help me to remain focused on what truly matters right now. The days are evil and people need Christ. Use me for great things and be a light today. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
