“God, pick up the pieces. Put me back together again. You are my praise!” Jeremiah 17:14, Message Bible.

A broken plate that drops on the floor can shatter into pieces. You can obtain the best glue you can find and attempt to put it back together, but it will still never be the same. Like that broken plate, something may have happened in your life that broke you. Even as a man, it shattered you into pieces, and it seems like even with the best glue you can find, the best worship service, the best message, or the best encouragement helps you, but you know on the inside you’re still not the same. 

Yet, don’t worry. God is picking up the pieces. Where you desire to be, who you desire to be, God says I’m making you over. A new man. Piece by piece, God is putting your life back together again. He’s putting your confidence back together again. He is putting your hunger for Him and love for people back together again. What was meant to break you God will use to make you. Truth by truth, revelation by revelation, praise by praise, obedience by obedience, He’s doing a glorious work in you! God knows you need to be you in this hour, and He’s doing just that, my brother, piece by piece.

Prayer: Father, I praise You! Thank You for picking up the pieces of my life. What seemed like couldn’t be fixed, I thank You for putting me back together. You are making me the same, but better and I’m following hard after You more than I ever have. Help me to let you do what you want in me. I surrender to Your will. I’m excited about what You are doing in and through my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
