Peace. Be still and know He is God.

“Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth” Psalm 46:10, NKJV.

“Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ And the wind ceased and there was a great calm’” Mark 4:39, NKJV.

There have been times as a man when I have had to ask myself how will this work out. A barrage of questions is pacing back and forth through my mind. Then God calmly speaks, “Peace. Be still and know that I am God.”

Be still and acquaint yourself with Who God is. Recognize and put before your eyes the truth that He indeed is God, and if anyone already made a way and will get you what you need, He can. If anyone can open a door, He will make it swing wide open. If anyone can move the mountain or get you to the other side of the storm, He can. God will be exalted in your life. Now it will be no different. So peace–be still.

The resolve for your situation is not based on your ability, but on His supernatural ability. Be still and rejoice because you are in His hands.

Prayer: Father, I give You praise and all of the glory that’s due Your name. Thank You for helping me be still and know that You are my God. You know the end from the beginning, and You have already worked it out. Help me to stand on Your word, and I receive peace. Help me to stand in faith and allow You to lead me into whatever I need. Be exalted in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
