“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing”
James 1:2-4, NKJV.
Patience with faith is powerful. As you wait on God in faith, it is a good thing when the mighty fruit of patience is produced in you, because with patience on your side, what promise can you not stand for and receive? One thing the devil doesn’t like dealing with is a patient believer because they are walking by faith, and not by sight. Glory to God!
God is a good God, not only toward someone else, but to you. So be encouraged right now while you are waiting on what He has spoken, that situation to work out, that increase, or blessing. Consider your entire experience joy. Your faith is being proven, bringing about His will for you, but what’s most rewarding and eternal, His will IN you. When the wait is over, you won’t lack no good thing.
Prayer: Father, I thank You during this time of waiting and I won’t back down in my faith. I will praise You and count it all joy! I ask for patience to continue to trust You. You are working behind the scenes something great and although I don’t see it, I believe it. When it’s over, I won’t lack no good thing! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
