Let Him fight your battles

“And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s” 2 Chronicles 20:15, KJV.

When you are in a battle, it can appear like God is no where in sight. As a man, it can seem like you have to take matters in your own hands and get it done. But be encouraged to not take the position of God. Your position is not, and never will be, to fight the battle.

Your position isn’t to fight the battle, but to have faith in the One Who fights all of your battles for you. Your position is not fear, worry, depression or to live without hope. Your position is faith and to keep obeying Him. Your God is always in His position to fight for you and He will. His desire is that you are a shining light in the midst of it. His desire is that you are a example of trust and praise in the midst of it.

If you look back over your life, even when you didn’t realize it, He was the One that fought your battles and won them all for you. He brought you out unhindered and better. This will be no different. Maintain your stance on His word, and let God be God and fight your battles.

Prayer: Father, I give You praise this morning. I don’t have to take matters into my own hands. The battle is yours! You fight all my battles! Help me not to take Your position, but to keep my position of faith. Help me to be a light to the unbeliever and an example of how to trust in You in the midst of a battle. I praise You now! Guide my steps Father and I thank You for winning this for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
