“To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified” Isaiah 61:3, NKJV.
In sports, when a team is down with seconds left in the game, the whole world will count them out. Everyone says it’s over. Sometimes, the things we go through can seem the same way. The enemy will say there’s no help in God.
It’s great to know that you may count out man, but you can never count out God. No matter what the devil says in your ear about your end, you are never counted out with the Lord on your side. He takes what is nothing and makes something good out of it. Sometimes, He will allow you to be uprooted, but it’s okay. His will is what’s best for you, and He will plant you in a place far better than you were. You will look back and only be able to say, only God could have done this in my life. From the least your God will bring the best. Trust Him now. He’s too good to be counted out. The best is yet to come.
Prayer: Father, You are good, and Your mercy endures forever! I will not count You out. The best is now with Jesus, and I declare it’s not over. The best is yet to come because You are on my side. There is help in You. Steer me during this time right into Your will for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
