“This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it” Psalm 118:24, NKJV.

God has never made anything the same, including today. This is a new day. You’ve never had one like it, and you won’t ever have another one like it again. It is one of a kind. See each day as valuable, treasure-filled, full of mercy, full of opportunity, full of learning, and victory. God has caused you to open your eyes, which should let you know that He has a plan and a purpose for you.

Make the first thing you do, as soon as your feet touch the floor, is to praise God and be glad that He’s blessed you to see a new day. He opened your eyes. He did it, which should let you know there’s a divine plan for your life–and it’s a great one. The more you are simply thankful to see another day, the more you’ll live it.
It’s not up to people. It’s not up to the devil. Your new day is up to you. He hears you and He will answer you. Be determined to press forward in your new day.

Prayer: Father, thank You Lord for a new day of life. I will rejoice and be glad in it! I’m expecting some great things within this day You’ve made. Choosing to rejoice is choosing to have faith in You. I trust You hear me and will answer me. Help me to own my day and make it count. Be glorified in my life today! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
