I’m leaning back, depending on You!

“But He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness” 2 Corinthians 12:9, Amplified.

We were never called to be self-dependent. We are called to a complete dependence on the Lord. This dependence is where grace, your anchor of faith, comes from. You may feel weak or tired, but in those moments, the Father says let Me be your chair, sit and lean on Me, and I will uphold you. My Spirit will comfort you and uphold you.

It wasn’t your strength then; it won’t be your strength now. It will never be by your hand. It will always be the joy of the Lord that keeps you strong. No matter what is surrounding you, the Lord has you surrounded. Admit your weakness. Glory in it, and watch Him be your strength. Don’t tackle today alone. It is the Lord! It is by His Spirit that you overcome every other spirit, and He will take care of you in great and miraculous ways.

Prayer: Father, I am in awe of you and all you are. I am thankful that I can boast that when I say I’m weak, I am strong! Help me sit at your table like a chair, and I depend on you to hold me up. I bless your name for the glory being revealed in me. Help me to press into more of you in my life. Be my joy and strength today. I depend on you! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
