“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment” Mark 12:30, NKJV.
In sports, there’s a term coaches use when they want their players to receive their game plan, their strategy, and when they get on that field, they give their best. That coach will ask them to be “all in”. The Father desires us to be all in when it comes to loving Him and living His way. We love Him and live for Him, not for anything else. The Message Bible terms it to love with all our passion, prayer, intelligence, and energy.
He is your Source, your Strength, Provider, Deliverer, Healer, your Peace, wisdom, and righteousness. I challenge you to be all in with your love for God, giving Him your all today. Seek not to focus on the problem, but rather on the One who has already made a way to solve it. On Him, who holds great plans for you in His hands. God is all in with you! He gave His Son for you. See the Lord and His way as better than anything, because He is. Be all in.
Prayer: Father, I love you, and I choose to love you not with some but with all of me. I’m all in. I’m all in with your word, your plan, and your way of doing things. I will give you my time and my mind will stay on Jesus today. Let your will be done and I will love you with all my strength, doing kingdom work. I’m giving everything I’ve got today. Thank you for being all in with my life. Do far beyond what I can ask for or imagine today. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
