I Humble Myself to You

“But He gives us more and more grace [through the power of the Holy Spirit to defy sin and live an obedient life that reflects both our faith and our gratitude for our salvation]. Therefore, it says, “God is opposed to the proud and haughty, but [continually] gives [the gift of] grace to the humble [who turn away from self-righteousness]” James 4:6, Amplified.

Father, I give you praise, honor and glory! there is no one like you! I’m humbling myself to your will today. I bow before You and let you be Lord of my life. I set my ears to listen to you. There is no good thing that I can do on my own. All of the strength, all of the love, all of the joy, and all of the perseverance I need comes from you. You are my unlimited Source. Help me Father to not only humble myself to what I can’t do, but also to who you say I am and what you say I can do through Christ. You said if I humble myself, You’ll exalt me in due time. You said if I walk humbly, You will give me your awesome grace. I receive Your mighty grace and I thank you Jesus for living through me today. May my light shine like the sun and I thank you for doing great things through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

  1. Let us all be as humble as JESUS Christ never seeking any praise or thanks for anything we do but giving it all to HIM
