“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever” Psalm 23:6, NKJV.

The goodness of God is following you. Everywhere you go, it’s there. It can’t be shaken. It’s fixed to you, even closer than your shadow. No matter what you’ve been through or how deep the experience is, the goodness of God is unhindered. God has commanded goodness to chase you down, which is its assignment each day. Right in the thick of where you are, the Lord is ready to fulfill His promise. Ready to work all things for your good. Ready to cause you to forget about what you thought you lost. It may seem like that blessing got away but have faith in God. You will rejoice because His goodness will show up for you again.

Prayer: Father, I praise you! Thank you, Jesus, for your finished work on the cross. Your goodness pursues me. It’s chasing me. I decide to let goodness meet me right where I am and bless me. Let it minister to all regret or missteps and bring an ocean of joy into my life. I rejoice to day knowing your goodness and mercy is following me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
