“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28, NKJV.

To us naturally, it may be challenging to comprehend that there is rest in Jesus, but there is. I have had countless times where I decided to cease from my labor about something and found rest in Jesus. It is beyond what man can do and only Jesus provides.

Jesus gives rest to all that come to Him. He will take away your burdens, your heaviness, and your pain. There is no peace for the wicked, but God has given us access to all He is by way of His Son. Your best days do not have to be a rarity but a consistency of assurance, gladness, and peace. There may be panic and fear in the world; however, we have a refuge in the Lord.

Brother, don’t carry it. You have access to God’s rest. You can still be away at any time and let God refresh you. Rely on God and give way to His will being done. Come to Jesus, and He will give you rest.

Prayer: Father, Thank you, God, for the rest found in Jesus. I come to you, Jesus, and I desire your rest so that you can remove stress and heaviness. Remove my pain. I cease from my labor and I rely on yours. Give me a joyful rest today. Refresh my soul. Help me to put my total trust in you and give it all to you. Your will be done in me. By faith, I receive your rest now. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
