He is your Ocean.

“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore” Psalms‬ ‭16‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

When I go to the beach, there is something powerful about being at the ocean, and my family will travel miles and miles, to get there. All those hours on the road, to merely unfold my beach chair and to sit there for hours and be blessed from being in its presence.

God is like the ocean for you. He has a mighty presence and there is power when you just sit before Him. As you begin the new year, sit before God and find the ministry of simply His presence. Simply sitting before Him. Tme with God isn’t always asking from Him. It’s just coming to Him, for Him. It’s being there. In your quietness, you’ll hear the Father speak. He will tell you what He has planned for you this year. New things. Sit and let Him encourage you, heal you, comfort you and refresh you. He’ll remove the burden. He will do things in you that you didn’t even realize you needed. The Father Himself is your greatest blessing. He is everything you need, and you can come Him anytime. He is your ocean.

Prayer: Father, I give you all the praise and glory. I sit quietly before you. I come to you, for you. Help me not to be in a rush, but sit quietly at your feet and allow you to minister mercy and grace to me. Speak to my heart about this year. Show me new things. Show me great and make mighty things I know not of. Replenish and refresh me. Comfort and deliver me. Heal me wherever I need it. I thank you as I sit before you, I will find everything I need in you. Teach me to do this more to just come and be quiet before you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Great word, its amazing the Lord when he is teaching me something, he usually will come through multiple people, and sitting in his presence for him just to listen to him, and to worship him, and to give him all the glory and honor he deserves, it’s multiple times came across this? , so I know it’s some of the Lord is asking me to start doing more often,
