“So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, ‘It is finished!’ And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit” John 19:30, NKJV.

Notice Jesus didn’t say it was finished after He rose. He said it was finished when He died, paying a dear price for you and me. However, for those observing Him on the cross, it didn’t look like He finished anything. Yet, this is the power of a finished perspective.

Jesus became the complete sacrifice for your sins, and through Him, every blessing and every victory freely flows in your life. Because of the Son, choose not to wait until you rise to see the blessing. Don’t wait to receive joy and peace until you rise. No matter what your current situation looks like, or what you’re going through, Jesus said it’s finished. Receive a finished perspective and carry this truth with you today.

Prayer: Father, thank You. Thank You Jesus for laying down your life so now I can pick up mine. I thank You that because it’s finished on the cross, it is finished in my life. I receive it today, Father. I rejoice over Your truth. Help me to always see my life authored and finished in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
