“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come” John 16:13, ESV.

There is a ride at a water amusement park called the Lazy River. It flowed in one direction, and nothing could change its current state, nor could you fight against it. This river was designed so that if you would relax and flow with it, it would carry you throughout the park.

Like that river, the Holy Spirit is described as living water, and He’s flowing in your life. He leading and guiding you into all truth. At every turn, every decision, every situation, the Holy Spirit is flowing with the very grace, the wisdom for living, and the word from God you need to bless your life. He’s flowing with God ideas and ways to be a blessing.

Don’t fight the current today. Trust where He’s guiding you to and guiding you through. Lay back and flow with His leading so He can carry you into the center of God’s will. The Father wants to show up and do all the awesome things you read about that He can do.

Flow with Him.

Prayer: Father, I ask to receive the Holy Spirit and that You open my eyes to His leading. I desire to live a blessed life. Holy Spirit, teach me to flow with You into everything God has for me. Help me not to fight against Your current, even when I don’t fully understand. I’m flowing with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
