“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” Matthew 6:33, NKJV.
There’s so much happening in these times, and everything you see around you says to let go of seeking after God’s kingdom and His righteousness–first. Seek you first. Stop going to church, stop serving and giving. Only focus on you.
Don’t be moved. God’s word and His ways have not changed. What the Father said He will do has not changed. Seek His kingdom and righteousness first, and no matter what is happening in the world, He will add the things that the devil wants you to put ahead of God.
Fulfillment, provision and great peace follow ministry–your service. Continue to let God reign. Keep seeking first to make God-directed decisions and impact lives being led by the Spirit of God. He will never fail to abundantly take care of you.
Prayer: Father, thank you for your word. Help me not to improperly seek first the things you said you would add to me. I will not be moved. I desire to be a man full of joy, at peace and fulfilled in helping others. I’m seeking your kingdom and righteousness first, trusting you. You will handle the rest. You will abundantly take care of me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
