“And they lifted up their voices and said, ‘Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!’ So when He saw them, He said to them, ‘Go, show yourselves to the priests.’ And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed” Luke 17:13-14, NKJV.

When Jesus walked the earth, He would heal someone when they asked. Sometimes, He would ask them to do something, a step, an instruction, and when they did it, or even as they did it, they would find themselves receiving what they asked for.

The Father will do the same with you. There are times with your daily walk, when you ask for something from God, and He will speak to your heart and tell you to do something. You now have your opportunity, your door to receive what you’ve asked Him for.

You may ask God to help my marriage, and in the heat of a moment, He will say make a step to forgive. When you ask God to increase you financially, He will give you wisdom or an idea in the right direction. You may ask for some peace of mind, then the Father will give you a word to hold on to, or ask you to read His word. When you say to Him you desire to walk out your calling, the Holy Spirit will begin leading you with a step into it.

When you ask for something from God, be encouraged to trust God with a step of faith so you can powerfully receive.

Prayer: Father, there is none like you! Thank you for speaking to me, and you always hear me when I ask for anything. When you ask of me, help me to make the step you tell me to take to receive. According to your word, I will see you do exceedingly and abundantly beyond what I can ask for or imagine! I declare I will trust you with everything I have today. I give you all the praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
