The power of yielding

“Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not My will, but thine, be done” Luke 22:42, KJV.

“Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God” Romans 6:13, KJV.

Jesus wrestled in prayer all night, yet He came to a point where He yielded to the Father. As a car on the road gives way to another, we all come to a point where we have to yield to God’s will for our lives. We know what He’s dealing with us about, but we haven’t given way to it. We are fighting against what He doesn’t want us to fight against anymore.

Yield. It’s tough, but we all come to a point where we must yield to His Spirit, to His direction, to His will. Bow the head and humble yourself as you say yes, Lord. Bow the head and submit to His will. Yield to what He wants to do in your life. Yield to that wisdom to reign over long-time sin. As you seek the Lord and get into His presence, as He fills your cup today, His grace will help you. praise. Change comes, a blessing comes, a champion life comes for a man when he decides to yield to God.

Prayer: Father, thank you. Help me let go and yield to you. I yield to your will and way. I bow the head and submit to you. It’s tough, but I’m a champion in Christ. I thank you for your abounding grace to help me. Great change and victory are taking place because I am not struggling or wrestling with you anymore. I thank you for living a yielded life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
