“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law” Galatians 5:22-23, NKJV.
“And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” Ephesians 5:18-19, NKJV.
Just as a car runs on gas, the believer runs on the Holy Spirit. He’s our power. The Holy Spirit helps us do what we naturally cannot do ourselves. He will help you to love. He is who leads and guides you into all truth. He will help you have joy and walk like a man the world doesn’t understand because you’re operating from a flow of living water that empowers you to live abundantly.
It is Him in us. In this hour, He wants to be Who you depend on for all you need. This is why we pray and spend time with God. As we do, He fills us with His Spirit, and then the Holy Spirit supplies the grace, the peace, the self-control, and all of the fruit needed to live victoriously. He empowers us to reign over our flesh and the enemy.
Prayer: Father, thank you for giving me Jesus. Holy Spirit, fill me today. I will depend on you. Empower me to do what I cannot do on my own. Fill me with what naturally doesn’t make sense to have. Let it be your joy, peace, power, and love that overflows in and out of my life to others around me. I declare I will reign and abundantly live through your Spirit today. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
