It’s the simple prayers.

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested” 1 Chronicles 4:10, NKJV.

I am reminded of the simplicity of God in prayer today. You don’t have to come to Him full of eloquence and elaborate praying. What the Father wants more than anything is for you to humbly say volumes from the heart, even with few words. Here are some simple prayers.

Lord, I need your strength today.

Lord, make me better today.

Lord, please provide today.

Your will be done today.

I surrender, Jesus.

Make a way today.

I have found the Father to meet me in an awesome way in my simple, humble moments. You’ll be surprised what a simple prayer will do.
