“And one cried to another and said: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory!'” Isaiah 6:3, NKJV.
“But as He who called you isholy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, ‘Be holy, for I am holy.'” 1 Peter 1:15-16, NKJV.
When I consider that God is holy, it is as if no one else can be in a room but God. No one can stand where He is. When you say He is holy, it commands everything must get in its proper place. Nothing impure can stand when you bring the holiness of God into view. Yet, here we are able to come into His midst.
Unworthy, unclean and undone in and of yourself, your holy Father has you in His midst. Priviledged to be in the presence of God through what Christ our King has done. Let the holiness of God push everything from your life that is not like Him. It sets apart what is false and what is truth. Let His holiness bring you to holiness today.
Prayer: Father, there is no one like Him. You are worthy and majestic. The angels cry holy, holy, holy, and so do I. You are perfect in all Your ways. In spite of sin, I praise You that we can come boldly before a holy God, and You have called me to live for You. Show me what holiness looks like. May the revelation of Your holiness turn everything in my life into holiness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
