Blind Faith

“For we walk by faith, not by sight” 2 Corinthians 5:7, NKJV.

We walk by faith and not by sight. As a blind man takes the hand of someone to lead him, the Lord calls us to be led by Him.

There are times when God will tell you to do something that seems crazy. There are times during your daily living when God will direct you to do something and you don’t understand why you should. You won’t see the whole picture, but He does. It will not make sense to you, but it makes perfect sense to God. All you know is you have a word for God and a leading to do it. There are also times you will feel like you’re jumping out of a plane without a parachute, and God will come through for you. In all of these following Christ experiences, are the moments in your life where by your faith you will see just how real, how secure, how faithful, and how good your God is.

Prayer: Father, you are good and I thank you. Help me to Walk by faith and not by sight. You know what I need and how to receive everything you have planned for my life. As a son, I must learn to be led by your Spirit. Help me to not lean on my own understanding, but by faith, you will use me and be glorified. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
